so i will start here to post my "build up" and
post pictures. (When i have time, i give my best)
Oettinger Engine is from a 1981 Golf GTI which i buyed in Germany for few years ago.
The body i sold to a friend, which build it up whith a G60 engine.
My actually car is a 1983 GTI which i build up in 1998, when i was 18years old (!)
so today i would do many things different,
but ok, know i have more experience than for 13years
Car facts:
GTI 1983
colour is a org. VW "ocean blue metallic"
(not org. GTI)
7,5 x 15 ACT-Ronal with 195/45/15 Yokohama
Supersprint Group A complete
and of course an 1,8 DX engine
Engine to build up:
OE 2000 E/16 based on EG "H" Block
94,5 mm crankshaft (right writing??)
pistons 81,97 mm
K-Jetronic and of course head with one oil bored.
normaly 272° cames.
so stop for today, it´s going on here as fast as possible...
